In light of the updated government and EPYSA directives, suspending soccer activities until 30 Apr 2020, we have the following updates regarding our RBJSL Spring 2020 season:

Our existing Spring 2020 schedule is no longer valid.

When the suspension is lifted, we know that there will be across-the-board schedule changes -- fields no longer available, players no longer available, possibly some teams and/or clubs not participating, etc.

Our desire is to play, when it is permitted and safe to do so.  We envision a Spring/Summer 2020 season.

We will make every effort to facilitate return to play, when the time comes.

We know there will be clubs, coaches, and families who will happily get back out on the field.

What might our Spring/Summer 2020 season look like?  When we get the green light...

We find out who's playing.

We find out who has available fields.

We build a schedule...we get referees...and we go play!

NO standings.  NO scores.  Only 1 referee at all age groups and tiers.

Players must have a valid 2019/20 player pass in order to participate.  It is possible that clubs may have to combine two teams into one...and it is possible that neighboring clubs may have to join together to create some teams...so we envision a wide degree of latitude regarding team rosters (as long as the kids are properly registered, we want 'em to get out there and play!).

Just note that the season cannot extend past 31 Jul 2020 (the end of the seasonal year).

Deadline for player registration and approval is NEXT MONDAY 06 Apr 2020.  After that date, we will accept no additional players for our Spring/Summer 2020 season.

Many thanks for all of our support during these very trying times.  It goes without saying that our priority is to stay safe and to do our part to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 in our communities.  We also recognize that our kids are going to want to play as soon as they're allowed...and to that end, our league and our clubs can lead the way.
